whilst an archive of images primarily expands through the number of different motifs, the elements multiply secondarily through visual descendants in the form of reproductions.
the ongoing series »re-pro« particularly explores the secondary heritage of collecting photographs. a continually shrinking fragment of an already fragmented whole. a negative of a positive of a negative. through repetitions, inversions, and distortions, the (re-)materialization is at the center of this fluid cycle.
